We manufacture high end tooling and fixtures for the aerospace industry. We needed to increase our productivity and versatility on our manual mills without losing the simplicity of a manual mill for our Toolmakers. At my former employer our machinists all had Prototrak mills and each had good things to say about them. We decided to contact D&;R Machinery about putting one in our shop to replace one of our mills. They were very helpful with the sale, delivery, training and service of our first Prototrak. Our guys picked up on the control quickly for radius and angle milling plus they can still crank the handles for fast metal removal. The first purchase went so well we put a second Prototrak on our floor and hope to start replacing some of our machining centers with Hurco’s from D&R Machinery soon.

Our service from the D&R team has been excellent. We have been taken care of very well from every aspect. The sales and purchasing went very smooth with a no pressure or haggle attitude while providing an upfront and honest price. The D&R team even took us out to show us some machines they previously sold to other customers so we may see how the machine operated and we were also able to speak with the customers to see how they liked the machine. On the technical and repair side, D&R have been nothing short of exceptional with a great knowledge base of the tooling needed training and operating the machine. When we needed help with setting up the machine or if we needed a repair done of some sort, D&R was always there to take care of us.
